Don`t confuse interline ticketing agreement with code sharing or operators: I received the Vayama itinerary with only a 13-digit electronic ticket number valid for all flights. validation_error (VALIDATING CARRIER A DO NOT ACCORD WITH S7-0322) – . “Incorrect search object” — . Re #6, if something happens and you miss the flight, the protection will be protected by the ticket provider (carrier A in my first example, or BA in the second). So you need to know who the ticket provider is, as you may need to contact them if there is a problem. This may also mean that you will be rerouted to the source (Dublin) or Manila for the return journey if you know that the first flight will be delayed. When I was working as a travel consultant for an online OTA, we sometimes encountered a problem for which the airlines did not have an interline agreement. The way we bypassed this was through the coating (ticketing) on a common airline that had an agreement with both airlines. We will find a common airline (Airline C) that has an interline agreement with Airline A and Airline B and issues tickets on the airline`s ticket fleet C. Not so often, but it is perfectly legal. In code-sharing and operational carrier situations, flight segments have the same code as the validating carrier, but are operated by other airlines. The ITA table is verified between the validating airline and the airline defined in DEI50.
